LDPE SLEEVINGS

FOR DUCTILE IRON PIPES AND FITTINGS, WATER AND SEWERAGE PIPES

Qatar National Plastic Factory polyethylene sleeving is manufactured in accordance with BS 6076:1981 and ASTM-D-1248-78 from prime grade raw polyethylene.

General properties of the Sleeving:

  1. Free from tears and voids with no pin-holes or other flaws.
  2. The tensile strength of the film in both machine and transverse directions is not less than 13 Mpa.
  3. Elongation at break in both and transverse directions will not be less than 350%.
  4. Sleeving is anti-corrosive, high resistant to most acids, alkalies and subsoil salts and can withstand temperatures of up to 80oC.
  5. Stocks are available in standard roll lengths of 100 m and 200 m for pipe with diameters 80 mm – 1200 mm in blue and black colours.
